It was brought to staff attention that Exo Spider (account age 425 days, site membership 21 hours) posted the article: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-7746, which contained multiple indicators of AI-generation.
In particular the original version of this article (Revision 0) is vastly different from the edited version (Revision 2).
SCP-7746 "Monophobia"
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7746 is to be contained in a 5m x 5m x 5m airtight chamber located at Site-██. The chamber must be equipped with constant audio-visual surveillance. Two D-Class personnel are to be stationed inside SCP-7746's containment chamber at all times. A rotation schedule ensures no personnel are inside the chamber for more than 24 hours consecutively.
In the event of a breach, Mobile Task Force Eta-9 ("Silent Companions") is to be deployed immediately. Eta-9 is trained in non-verbal communication and equipped with tranquilizers and non-lethal incapacitation devices.
Description: SCP-7746 is a humanoid entity approximately 2 meters in height, with a thin, emaciated appearance. The entity is composed of an unknown material resembling charred wood and has a featureless face, save for two deep-set, hollow eyes. SCP-7746 is highly sensitive to the presence of human beings and demonstrates a compulsion to avoid being alone.
When SCP-7746 is left alone without direct human presence for more than 10 minutes, it enters a highly aggressive state, capable of phasing through solid matter to seek out the nearest human being. Upon locating a person, SCP-7746 exhibits extreme violence, often resulting in the victim's death. SCP-7746 then enters a calm state and remains passive as long as it is not alone.
Addendum 7746-1: Test Log
Test 7746-01
Subject: D-9871 and D-1290
Procedure: Both D-Class personnel are stationed in SCP-7746's containment chamber. D-9871 is removed from the chamber, leaving D-1290 alone with SCP-7746.
Results: SCP-7746 remains passive. D-1290 shows signs of extreme anxiety but reports no hostile behavior from SCP-7746. After 30 minutes, D-9871 is returned to the chamber. No incidents reported.
Test 7746-02
Subject: D-2334
Procedure: D-2334 is placed in SCP-7746's containment chamber alone. Observation continues for 20 minutes.
Results: SCP-7746 begins displaying signs of agitation after 8 minutes. At the 10-minute mark, SCP-7746 phases through the containment chamber walls. SCP-7746 breaches containment and proceeds to kill two security personnel before being recontained by MTF Eta-9. D-2334 is found uninjured in the containment chamber.
Addendum 7746-2: Breach Incident 7746-B
Date: ██-██-20██
Details: During routine testing, an electrical malfunction led to a temporary lapse in containment protocols, leaving SCP-7746 alone for approximately 12 minutes. SCP-7746 breached containment and began moving through Site-██, seeking out human presence.
MTF Eta-9 Response: Mobile Task Force Eta-9 was deployed immediately. Utilizing thermal imaging and non-verbal coordination, Eta-9 located SCP-7746 in Section B of Site-██. Eta-9 members employed tranquilizer darts and flashbang grenades to disorient SCP-7746 without causing structural damage or further casualties.
Outcome: SCP-7746 was successfully subdued and returned to its containment chamber. Two MTF Eta-9 members sustained non-fatal injuries during the recontainment process. Following the incident, all Site-██ personnel were reminded of the importance of maintaining SCP-7746's containment protocols.
Notes: A full review of Site-██'s electrical systems is underway to prevent future malfunctions. Additional safeguards have been implemented to ensure SCP-7746 is never left alone, including a secondary backup power supply and manual override systems for containment protocols.
SCP-7746 "Monophobia"
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7746 is to be contained within an airtight chamber measuring 5 m x 5 m x 5 m at Site-. The chamber is fitted at all times with audio-visual surveillance. There are to be two D-Class within SCP-7746's containment chamber. A rotation schedule for these personnel assures that no personnel are within the chamber for more than 24 hours consecutively.
In the event of a breach, a special task force is immediately deployed. Mobile Task Force Eta-9, also known as "Silent Companions," is trained in non-verbal communication and equipped with tranquillisers and non-lethal incapacitation devices.
Description: SCP-7746 is a humanoid entity approximately 2 meters in height, with a thin, emaciated appearance. It is made from a kind of unknown burnt wood material, except for having an expressionless face with eyes set deeply. Other than that, the face of SCP-7746 is smooth aside from two deep-set eye sockets and it appears to be made out of a broken down charred wood.
When leaving SCP-7746 unattended without humans being there in 10 minutes, it will become aggressive so much that it can pass through solid objects to look for the closest person available. In case SCP-7746 locates a person, then it normally goes into a very violent frenzy that often kills its victims. Finally coming across someone means that SCP-7746 becomes calm before becoming passive unless solitary again.
