Item #: SCP-8086
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8086 Specimens (SCP-8086-A through SCP-8086-F) are to be kept in a separate, soundproofed, and reinforced sub-chamber within a central containment chamber. Access to SCP-8086 is restricted to Level 3 and above. All direct handling with SCP-8086 specimens should be performed using remote-controlled robotic units to reduce risk.
Description: SCP-8086 is a collection of dental plushies resembling various animals. The plush toys vary in size and color but share the distinctive feature of having humanoid teeth sewn into their mouths. Each SCP-8086 instance displays unique behaviors and characteristics. SCP-8086 instances exhibit predatory behavior, targeting and attacking humans particularly. SCP-8086 instances bear sharp claws hidden beneath their soft exteriors, capable of inflicting significant harm. Upon subduing a victim, SCP-8086 forcibly extracts all the victim's teeth and inserts them into its own mouth, they also notably dislike teeth with cavities. SCP-8086 instances communicate through their respective animalistic sounds, enabling them to coordinate their hunting efforts.
Discovery: SCP-8086 was first discovered at a dental clinic where multiple disappearances had been reported. The clinic was subsequently shut down and permanently closed after several bodies were found hidden behind the building. several months later, a similar pattern of events occurred at another dental clinic. This clinic had recently acquired new toys for the waiting room to ease the anxiety of young patients, shortly after this staff began to notice an increase in patient cancellations and no-shows. The clinic was also in the process of moving supplies when the disappearances began again. Concern escalated when the clinic's receptionist failed to return from her shift. The following morning, a search party discovered her body in a supply closet, completely devoid of teeth. The incident prompted immediate suspension of the clinic's operations. Local news outlets reported the eerie similarities to the previous clinic's closures.

This drew the Foundation's attention, prompting an investigation by Foundation agents. Upon arrival at the second clinic, Foundation agents discovered the owner and the moving crew dead, all of them missing their teeth. Nearby, the agents found SCP-8086 specimens, each with the victims' teeth embedded in their mouths. At the time of discovery, the SCP-8086 instances appeared inert and showed no movement.
Agents immediately secured the area and contained the SCP-8086 specimens. During the transport no anomalous activity was detected, leading to the initial hypothesis that SCP-8086 instances only become active under specific conditions. Following arrival at the foundation, initial examinations revealed the predatory nature of SCP-8086 and their unique behavior of removing and incorporating human teeth. Detailed observation of the plush toys showed that the teeth were not merely sewn into the fabric but appeared to have been organically attached, as if the plush itself had absorbed and grown around the teeth. It has also been noted that when integrated in an SCP-8086 instance the teeth will start to deteriorate at a rapid pace, and after falling out plastic teeth will reappear until they're replaced by the next victim's teeth. Further test exhibited SCP-8086's ability to communicate through growls, roars, and other animalistic sounds. SCP-8086 instances displayed an acute awareness of their surroundings and coordinate their movements with unsettling precision. SCP-8086 instances showed selective predation when the instances showed preference for generally healthy teeth. This discovery led foundation researchers to speculate about the possible intelligence guiding their actions and potential origins of their anomalous properties.

Investigations by foundation agents into the manufacturer of the SCP-8086 instances used at both clinics revealed that they were custom-made by a now-defunct company, [REDACTED], which had abruptly ceased operations after the second incident. All attempts to track down former employees or company records so far have been unsuccessful. During routine surveillance, a discovery of security footage from the second clinic showed a child, who was unnoticed by staff placing one of the SCP-8086 instances in the waiting room. The child who wore a distinctive red jacket matched no patient records, and vanished shortly after the footage was captured. Searches for this child showed no results. A speculation was brought about the possibility of there being more SCP-8086 instances, but this is unproven, and more about SCP-8086's origins is still being investigated.
