And tonight, about 25 minutes ago, this forum thread:
I did some really dumb things and I want to apologize. I shitposted a lot in the comments of this website and I think that I want to say I'm sorry. I was a little too happy getting a account here and didn't realize I was doing something wrong. I apologize for being a burden on you guys. Can I make up for it in some way?
EDIT : I forgot to mention that I got very salty while critiquing.
EDITED : I fixed some of my shitposts.
I'm not going to suggest some course of disciplinary action (since I'm only junior staff and it may not even be necessary), but I will say that posting publicly like that isn't really a good way to respond to staff action, as Bryx summarized:
You can recognize whatever you've done, avoid it in the future, and not make a public event out of it. I didn't even know you'd been doing toe-ing the line stuff, and now everyone does.
To be completely fair, making that thread is totally something I would've done as the person I was when I first joined the site two years ago, so I can empathize in that manner; however, it's still a little along the 'not getting the message' lines as far as I'm concerned. I dunno - in any case, I'm just posting this for recordkeeping.
