New site member MegaSC (account age 20 days, site membership 16 days) recently posted two full drafts to the Draft Critique forum without greenlights:

When addressed by staff, they created two separate Ideas Critique forum threads:

Additionally, they sent me the following message:

I replied:

Your thread does not follow forum guidelines. Additionally, most of the Central Narrative portions noted in the table do not actually contain any story content, but rather are descriptions of the anomaly. Out of curiosity, was AI used for these summaries?

They responded with:

… I did not use AI. That's very insulting. I wanted to do it this way since I have 10 drafts sitting around, and have been having issues sharing them due to strict single guidelines. I write very scientifically which is why there isn't always a story, I don't think that's bad.

I replied:

The "Central Narrative" section of the guidelines: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-13282684/required-reading:how-to-use-this-forum-ideas notes specifically, "Remember, this is NOT a description or list of anomalous effects!" and that that section should indicate "The overall story that your article intends to tell." If there is no story to be told, the Central Narrative section can be left blank, or the author can put, "There is no overall story."

When AI is used to fill out the template, the AI very often puts descriptive content about the anomaly in the Narrative section, hence why the question was asked.

User replied:

Alright thanks. My whole SCP thing is on hold due to posting issues, including the fact I had 10 full draft ideas which I specifically wanted to develop in full before posting, and turns out I can't post 10 at once. Haha don't worry about it…

Noting this for records-keeping and reviewer awareness. The user's recent thread with 10 concepts has been locked, as at the time of posting, they already reached the max allowed weekly posting limit for concepts.

I replied noting that staff only delete threads that contain severe rulebreaking material. They replied with:
