User kblacke has received a monthlong critban from the Discord writing channels for repeated vehemence, overfamiliarity to the point of uncomfortability, immaturity, and general line-toeing behavior.

Due to unique circumstances, this critban does not follow standard escalation.

This update was created as a result of a policy amendment and does not correspond to this message's date of posting.

On 06MAY2024, kblacke appealed their monthlong ban. Fish^12, OriTiefling, and Pedagon voted against accepting the appeal.

Noting that kblacke has received a 1 day ban from the Discord writing channels on 17 September 2024 for the following reason(s):

Overtly breaking the rules, despite having been told not to hours before by a Discord Critique Staff member.

Note: Due to the above action being nonstandard, Discord Critique staff has elected to begin standard escalation from this point forward.

Noting that on 13 December 2024, kblacke received a 6 month ban from the Discord writing channels with the following reason:

Continued pattern of combative/abrasive behavior towards staff and other members of the community consistent with past critique actions. Due to the repeated nature of these occurrences over the course of the past year, this will be considered a final warning before permanent removal from the critique space.

Note: This ban is consistent with standard escalation, and follows a series of logged warnings from noted behavior in chat.

On 13 December 2024, the user in question appealed their ban. Upon further review and correspondence about noted behaviors, the appeal was ultimately denied on 24 December 2024.
