It was brought to staff attention that TheMathGOD (account age 7 days, site membership 4 days) posted the articles: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8905 and https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8044, which contained multiple indicators of AI-generation.
SCP-8905 is a porcelain doll approximately 23 cm (9 inches) in height. The doll depicts a young girl with vacant, black eyes and a perpetually sad expression. The doll's clothing is made of a rough, brown fabric that appears constantly damp and emits a faint, sickly sweet odor.
Upon arrival, MTF Beta-7 found the village completely deserted. All buildings were abandoned, and personal belongings were left scattered throughout the homes. Near the village well, MTF Beta-7 discovered the bodies of several villagers, their faces contorted in expressions of profound grief.
During a containment breach of SCP-███ (REDACTED), SCP-106 (Radioactive Old Man) came into contact with SCP-8905. SCP-106 reacted violently to the doll's presence, exhibiting signs of distress and attempting to destroy it. However, SCP-8905-1 appeared to have a neutralizing effect on SCP-106, rendering it docile and unresponsive. Further research is ongoing to understand this anomalous interaction.
Of note, Revision 0 of this article is completely different from the final version (Revision 6). At Revision 3, the user deletes the entire original article (which appears to be human-written) and replaces it with the far more mechanical AI-generated tone. Revisions 1 and 2 from Zara Calico were to add the Rating Module and change the title of the article, as well as add the in-deletions tag, respectively.
(I'm new to scp universe here's my first story. i have verry little idea of how things happen here so I'm looking for reviews. I have read the guide but I still need more experience.with that being said, ——
Authorities had recieved news that unexplainable weird things were happening in a small village in Africa.Soon many researchers accompanied by the Mobile Task Force were dispatched to investigate the situation. When they reached the village, they found it was completely deserted, with no people or no living being. It had become dark by now and all of them were confused. Until they went near the village well, they found many people lying dead in the water, rotting away. "What's going on?", asked one of them. "I am as confused as you are." replied another. "It's getting dark, let's spend the night in one of the houses and go report to the higher ups tommorow since this place is very far away" They entered one of the houses in the village and we're about to go to sleep when a Junior Researcher pointed out, "Hey! What's that weird doll doing in the corner? And why does it look like a lot of 'dust' flying out of it?" They crept closer. "I - I feel a b-bit fun-ny" BAM!!! A few of them collapsed on the floor, Screaming, but what they said couldn't be understood, it was far, far was than even the cries of SCP-096.A person from the Mobile Task Force shot it with his assault rifle. But the bullet deflected of the doll and hot him instead right in the heart. And more of the 'dust' like particle began to flew out of the doll. "GET OUT OF HERE!" A scientist screamed. THEY RUSHED OUTSIDE. But they soon collapsed too. It was although all of their happy feelings and memories were getting sucked out of them and they were left with all their bad, sad memories. They completely lost the meaning of life, getting mentally tortured for eternity. Till only 1,of them remained. A junior researcher who had very quickly become one of the most celebrated researchers for his surprising talent and bravery considering he had joined for only 1 month now.He was wearing a mask with the SCP logo on it as a gift from his boss. He bravely took a gun from the now soon to be dead members of the Mobile Task Force in 1 hand and the doll in another and quickly got in the car they came in and drove as fast as he could towards civilization and made a call to the higher ups. He put the doll in a thick bag and waited for morning when a plane came to pick him up. He felt although his head might explode with pain. And he blacked out. Next moment he was lying in the hospital with his boss, the director, some senior researchers and a member of the 05-Council surrounding his bed. They asked him to explain what had happened. With a tired voice, he explained to everyone what had happened with the last bit of his strength. They nodded to eachother and went away.

SCP-8905 The Cursed Doll
Class-Euclid
SCP-8905 is a cursed doll like entity that measures around 9 inches in height. It produces a type of pollen that, when a living being breathes it in, all of their happy memories are sucked by the doll and they are left mentally ill and unstable. All victims end up suiciding. When angered, it produces more of this mysterious pollen which is yet to be studied. However it is proven that it is not something to mess with. And this pollen adapts it strength according to the victim. For humans,it is weaker but with other SCPs, it is not something to come close to without very powerful protection.During a containment breach of SCP-106,the Old Man entered the same room as this mysterious doll. And tried to cover it with the corrosive substance it produced as it appeared it made him feel uneasy.SCP-106 went berserk, screaming, trying to end itself but couldn't. The effects on him seemed to have neutralized him. The Foundation has decided that the pollen grain produced by the doll can be used for neutralizing other SCPs as well. For now SCP 8095 will be kept in containment until further notice.
This was a terribly written as it was my first story now I am gonna try to make it better now that I got a bit of experience
SCP-8905: The Memory Eater
Object Class: Keter (Euclid pending further research)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8905 is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment locker within Site-██. The locker is to be lined with lead shielding of at least 5 cm thickness. All personnel entering the containment area must wear full hazardous materials suits with positive air pressure and undergo a mandatory psychological evaluation after exposure.
Description: SCP-8905 is a porcelain doll approximately 23 cm (9 inches) in height. The doll depicts a young girl with vacant, black eyes and a perpetually sad expression. The doll's clothing is made of a rough, brown fabric that appears constantly damp and emits a faint, sickly sweet odor.
SCP-8905 produces a fine, dust-like substance that appears to be microscopic fragments of its clothing. This substance, designated SCP-8905-1, is invisible to the naked eye and readily airborne. When inhaled by a living being, SCP-8905-1 induces a potent amnestic effect, targeting positive memories. Victims experience a progressive loss of happy memories, leading to increasing feelings of despair and hopelessness. In advanced stages, victims exhibit severe clinical depression, suicidal ideation, and a complete emotional detachment from their surroundings.
The rate of SCP-8905-1's effect appears to be directly correlated with the emotional state of the victim. Individuals experiencing heightened fear or anger trigger an accelerated release of SCP-8905-1, potentially leading to rapid mental collapse.
Addendum 8905-1: Recovery Report
SCP-8905 was recovered from the village of ████████, located in a remote region of ████████. Foundation assets were alerted after reports of mass disappearances and a sharp increase in suicide rates within the village. Mobile Task Force Beta-7 ("Buzzards") was dispatched to investigate.
Upon arrival, MTF Beta-7 found the village completely deserted. All buildings were abandoned, and personal belongings were left scattered throughout the homes. Near the village well, MTF Beta-7 discovered the bodies of several villagers, their faces contorted in expressions of profound grief.
Further investigation led the task force to a seemingly abandoned house. Inside, they discovered SCP-8905 positioned in the corner of a room. As MTF Beta-7 approached the doll, Junior Researcher ███████ reported feeling a sudden wave of melancholy. Before further action could be taken, SCP-8905-1 was released in a concentrated burst, incapacitating most of the task force members. Researcher ███████, who was wearing a Foundation-issued gas mask (a gift from his supervisor), was the only member unaffected. He managed to neutralize SCP-8905 with his sidearm and escape the village with the doll.
Addendum 8905-2: Experiment Log
Experiment 8905-A: A D-Class personnel with a history of depression was exposed to SCP-8905-1 in a controlled environment. The subject reported a gradual loss of positive memories, replaced by a growing sense of apathy and despair. After 24 hours of exposure, the subject exhibited full-blown clinical depression and expressed suicidal thoughts. Termination authorized.
Experiment 8905-B: A D-Class personnel with a history of violent behavior was exposed to SCP-8905-1. Upon initial exposure, the subject reported a feeling of intense anger. This triggered a massive release of SCP-8905-1, causing the subject to enter a violent rage within seconds. The subject attacked researchers before being subdued. The subject remained in a highly agitated state for several hours before succumbing to the amnestic effects of SCP-8905-1.
Addendum 8905-3: Incident Report
During a containment breach of SCP-███ (REDACTED), SCP-106 (Radioactive Old Man) came into contact with SCP-8905. SCP-106 reacted violently to the doll's presence, exhibiting signs of distress and attempting to destroy it. However, SCP-8905-1 appeared to have a neutralizing effect on SCP-106, rendering it docile and unresponsive. Further research is ongoing to understand this anomalous interaction.
Note: Due to the potential for SCP-8905 to be weaponized against other SCPs, its classification upgrade to Keter is under consideration.
SCP-8044 is a seemingly unremarkable antique music box crafted from ornately carved rosewood. The box measures approximately 20 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm. A faded inscription on the inside of the lid reads "For Elise" in a delicate script. When wound, SCP-8044 plays a hauntingly beautiful melody for approximately 3 minutes.
Speaking or singing the phrase appears to alleviate the negative effects. However, the consequences of vocalizing the phrase are unpredictable. Documented effects include:
- Localized environmental effects: Sudden temperature drops, electronic malfunctions, or brief instances of telekinesis.
- Manifestation of fleeting phantasmagoric creatures visible only to the subject.
- In rare cases, a temporary shift in reality, causing the subject to disappear for a short period before reappearing in a seemingly random location.
Notes: The exact nature of the language and the consequences of vocalizing the phrase remain unknown. Research is ongoing to determine the origin of SCP-8044 and the language inscribed on the subjects' eyelids.

Item #: SCP-8044
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8044 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell at Site-██. The cell must be soundproofed and equipped with 24/hour monitoring via audio and video feeds. Personnel interacting with SCP-8044 must wear sound-dampening headphones at all times.
Description: SCP-8044 is a seemingly unremarkable antique music box crafted from ornately carved rosewood. The box measures approximately 20 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm. A faded inscription on the inside of the lid reads "For Elise" in a delicate script. When wound, SCP-8044 plays a hauntingly beautiful melody for approximately 3 minutes.
The anomalous properties of SCP-8044 manifest when a human subject listens to the music it produces. Upon completion of the melody, the subject will report a compelling urge to speak or sing a single, specific phrase. This phrase is invariably in an unknown language and appears to be written on the inside of their eyelids. The writing vanishes within 24 hours, leaving no physical trace.
Subjects who resist the urge to vocalize the phrase experience no immediate ill effects. However, within 72 hours, they report increasingly disturbing nightmares and a growing sense of dread. Left untreated, these symptoms can progress to insomnia, paranoia, and self-harm.
Addendum:
Recovery Log: SCP-8044 was recovered following a raid on a clandestine auction dealing in rare artifacts. No information regarding the item's origin or previous ownership was found.
Experiment Log:
Test Subject: D-██████ (death row inmate, convicted of arson)
Procedure: D-██████ was instructed to listen to SCP-8044 play. Upon completion of the melody, D-██████ reported seeing the phrase written on his eyelids and feeling an urge to speak it.
Results: D-██████ resisted the urge for 48 hours before succumbing to the growing sense of dread. He then spoke the phrase in a guttural, unfamiliar language. The room temperature dropped several degrees, and all electronic devices within the cell malfunctioned for a brief period. D-██████ reported temporary relief from the nightmares but expressed deep remorse for his actions.
Notes: The exact nature of the language and the consequences of vocalizing the phrase remain unknown. Research is ongoing to determine the origin of SCP-8044 and the language inscribed on the subjects' eyelids.
