Sisyphus Prime was recently reported for requesting critique on an article that, upon examination, contained all the hallmarks of AI-Generated content. As a result, the user has received a critique ban.
Noting that the page in question is here: https://scp-sandbox-3.wikidot.com/sisyphus-prime-s-scp-1669-jp
Excerpts of note:
SCP-01669 appears to derive some form of enjoyment from dressing up and being dressed up, although the reason for this behavior remains unclear. Further research into SCP-01669's psychology and origins is ongoing.
SCP-01669's behavior and abilities warrant continued study and observation to better understand its psychology and its potential assistance in the containment of other anomalies and Foundation operations. Efforts to establish a rapport with SCP-01669 and ascertain its intentions are ongoing. Additionally, exploration into SCP-01669's connection to SCP-001 remains a priority for further research.
Additionally, the user spammed the same concept thread three times in the forums:

Noting that the user attempted to appeal the critique ban, and that this appeal was denied. User was informed that they could appeal again in a year's time. User responded by asking for clarity on the denial, which was provided, and then attempted to appeal once more. User has been issued a cease and desist from contacting critstaff further about this matter until March 13th, 2025, when they are permitted to appeal the ban once more.
Noting that it was brought to staff attention that the user has been requesting feedback on a draft that has several indicators of AI-generation: https://scp-sandbox-3.wikidot.com/draft-room
Excerpts of note/staff observations:
Revision 0 (Oct 2024) has some hallmarks of AI generation.
Psychological evaluations are to be conducted monthly and therapy sessions conducted weekly to reassess SCP-XXXX's mentality and to prevent any potential breakdowns stemming from its conditions. Additionally, usage of SCP-XXXX's preferred name and pronouns is recommended during interactions. Current containment strategies also include providing SCP-XXXX with literature and media promoting peaceful resolutions and philosophical texts aimed at reducing its combat readiness mindset.
from an old revision of Sisyphus Prime's sandbox:
Incident Log:
Date: ██/██/2023
Summary:
Following Interview 3, SCP-XXXX entered a dormant state, ceasing movement and communication for a period exceeding 24 hours. Over this time, security footage noted the subject’s body temperature gradually decreasing by approximately 2°C every hour, along with a notable reduction in responsiveness to external stimuli. SCP-XXXX’s typical thermal output fell well below normal human levels, dropping to a near-hypothermic state by the 18-hour mark.
AI also seems to like dormant states. That said, the revision history is much more consistent with human writing
The entity you’ve designated SCP-XXXX—who we call our 'White Knight'—has been out of AGC’s hands for quite some time now, and while I can’t truthfully claim we’ve missed their temper, we have missed their presence in our staff. The White Knight is one of our most valuable assets, not just in terms of what they can do, but what they mean to us as a company. They’re one of ours, and we take care of our own.
You’ve done an excellent job keeping them intact—something I acknowledge and appreciate—but the fact remains: they belong to us. Let’s make this transition as smooth as possible, for all our sakes.
Another oddity:
SCP-XXXX possesses no distinguishable physical features that deviate significantly from baseline human anatomy, aside from its vulpine tail and ears.
I know AI likes to do this thing where it says, "it's literally no different… except for everything that makes it different"
There's definitely an edit history here, but the whole thing does appear at once at Revision 0 with evidence of previous edits. I don't know where it came from, but it's probably where the em-dashes are being ported from.
Action Taken:
SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber has been modified to include regular exposure to sunlight or UV radiation, maintaining a stable temperature and preventing future dormancy episodes. Further investigation into SCP-XXXX’s suit and its energy-gathering properties is ongoing.
This reads like AI from Revision 0 though, which was [mentioned in an earlier excerpt].
The whole Incident-XXXX-1 Log reads like AI.
Given the above, and the user's history of using AI-generation and AI-assistance, staff has voted to enact a permanent ban. nico, Kufat, and Zoobeeny in support.
Ban enacted, PM sent. User has an immediate appeal available.
Noting that I received a PM today:
Apologies for the late response, I was wondering if there was a time limit for me to submit an appeal for shortening? And if it would be more convenient for you if I submit an appeal in the Discord rather than PM it to you?
Sincerely, SisyphusPrime.
Sent back:
I was wondering if there was a time limit for me to submit an appeal for shortening?
There is no time limit for submitting a ban appeal. However, please be advised that if a submitted appeal is declined, the submitter may not send in another appeal until a year after the first decline date.
And if it would be more convenient for you if I submit an appeal in the Discord rather than PM it to you?
As I receive a lot of messages each week and the official Discord has a whole staff team, your appeal would likely be received more promptly if submitted to the Discord. However, I cannot guarantee response time, since I am not part of the Discord team.
They replied:
Thank you for the clarification. I hope you have a great rest of your day wherever you are.
I have not responded.
User sent this today:
Hello Zyn, I hope you're having a pleasant day so far.
I would like to appeal for a shortened or lifted ban from mainsite. I understand that I have a history of using AI-generated content in the sandbox and have attempted to request critique for these pieces of generated content twice. I am aware that a promise over screens means little, but I promise that I will not use AI-generated content in the sandbox or mainsite ever again, and will not ask for critique for any generated content I may still have.
Sincerely, Sisyphus Prime.
I replied noting that I would forward the appeal to staff for discussion.
ETA: staff consensus was to decline the appeal. Myself, Kufat, Ari, and subtletea voted to decline, no votes to accept. User has been informed of the result via PM.
