This is something that's been on my mind for a couple of weeks now, but I was otherwise preoccupied to do anything about it.
The current favicons we use are ugly. Some of our translation sites have better favicons. Let's replace them.
Here are my proposed replacements:
For the main site. This one is thicker than any of the favicons currently used by us or our translation sites. I think thick lines look good when it's super small like that. You can see it in action at the stats site: http://scp-stats.wikidot.com/user:anqxyr
For staff site. This is the exact same favicon we have now, but with transparent background.
For the sandbox. Line thickness is based on the first icon. This is my least favorite of the three, but it's still way better than what we have now.
EDIT: at least in Firefox, if you right-click the image and select "view image", the favicon of the tab it'll open in will be the image itself. This is very useful to see how those favicons would appear in action.
So, thoughts? Both on these particular icons, and on changing favicons in general? If anyone has alternative favicons they'd like to propose, I personally would like to see them.
