Context: A group of users and/or sockpuppets have been breaking site rules in various with respect to a specific slot, SCP-7156. Recently, this has taken the form of a downvote brigade.

Description: SCP-7156 was moved to the protected category, and a redirect was created.

Reasoning: This stops an active downvote brigade and prevents future brigading.

I was not present for the live Fiat discussion, but I would like to note weak dissent on the basis that:

• The page was not as well-established as the other protected: page when that protection was implemented.
• Given this lower degree of initial vote total, that protecting it prior to reaching single digits or negatives was premature.
• There are other possibilities beyond use of protected: which should have been more thoroughly discussed (elaborated on in staff chat).

(As Rule of Three is still satisfied, my dissent does not alter the outcome of this Fiat Action.)
