Noting that it was brought to staff attention that SunnyDKnight has been spam-posting AI-generated feedback to the forums.

I have staffposted on all their feedback posts that contain clear indicators of AI usage, and sent an Official Warning to the user. We move to bans on further infractions.

Of note, the user has also offered "fanart" of works they commented on. The fanart also shows indicators of being AI-generated.

Noting here that they had asked about posting AI generated pages one month prior, and were told by two staff members it was against site rules. They acknowledged those replies further down in the thread.

I understand that I should use AI , but I do not have the best writing skills, Going forward in critique I will make sure to use non-generative AI content to avoid any further inconveniences. Thank you.

Totally sorry for the inconvenience, I should proofread more. I know This won't change the cease and desist, but it is what it is, Thanks in advance.

As a result of the above, this user has received a cease and desist from use of the writing forums. This can be appealed in a year.

It has recently come to staff attention that you have been using AI to provide feedback in the forums. This is explicitly against site policy, and disrespectful to potential authors. As a result, you are being issued a formal cease and desist. You are hereby prohibited from giving and receiving feedback in the writing forums. This C&D can be appealed after a year.

For recordkeeping, the user has contacted me on two separate occasions regarding the above cease and desist, questioning its limitations. I provided answers to their questions. Messages from the user are below.

I told someone I would check for critique, What about if someone sends a PM and asks for critique? Should I ignore them and inform them that I can not give a critique due to the cease and desist? Just clarifying so I can be thorough. Thanks In advance.

Can I reach out to people and don't post it on the forum? just doing this to make sure because of my current work on an SCP. Thanks in advance.

Noting that it was brought to staff attention that the user's recently posted work: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/art:female-pietro-wilson contains an image that is suspected to be traced without citation, possibly of an AI generated work.

Additionally, they were given a cease and desist from the writing forums, but still used the writing forums on at least two occasions to complain about said C&D.

Given the context above, a call for escalation was made. Disc team staff, please weigh in on the length of the ban, whether a weeklong or monthlong.

Wait What? I'm confused my art Is hand drawn. ussed with references, yeah. (Assuming this about the Wilson one because you can clearly see my finger in thst logo art) I used Riko from Made In Abyss because I like her hair and for the suit used SCP-5000-why and Samus Aran as a reference for the suit. Also no text is generated (can't prove that). my point is whst doy You guys think is generated?

Note: sorry if this doesnt make sense due to typing it 3 times due to nintendos timeout feture on the switch.

The page was deleted due to licensing violation. If you used references, particularly for tracing and/or AI-generated references, you need to state them upfront and ensure that you're adhering to the site's Creative Commons licensing.

Of note, the user sent me links to the multiple images they used as references, one of which seems to have been the primary traced reference, and was confirmed to be AI-generated (per source note, "Designed using Midjourney v4 and Adobe Photoshop.").

Since it's been a little over a month I am wondering if I can reapply. I will make sure this time I will post every reference I used, and check for The CC license. I can not go to the join site tab on the wiki with my account and do not want to make an alt-account because I know that is against the site rules.

I replied noting that the ban has elapsed and they may re-apply for membership.

I told them that since the piece in question heavily referenced (looks like tracing) an image that was confirmed generated by AI, it remains deleted.

Ok, was just wondering, Just looked up things that might have helped and found that one I'll look next time.
