Mod Tool Nominations November 8, 2023

These are votes of confidence. If you are unfamiliar or on the fence about someone, vote NO or don't vote at all. Only vote yes if the candidate has your confidence and you genuinely feel that they are ready for mod tool access.

This is an open vote for operational staff and above.

Voting Rules

All "Yes" votes are counted in favor, and all "No" votes are counted as opposed. Requirement for a candidate to receive the Moderator tools role is a simple voting majority, with a quorum equal to that required for policy implementation (currently 30%).
In a situation with multiple candidates a voter may choose to cast a vote on the election of all, some, or none of the candidates.
Candidates may not vote in their own election.

Why:	On-site licensing maintenance requires the usage of mod tools to edit locked pages to put in licenseboxes. Also intends to work in tandem with Curation on replacing images on older articles.

Why:	Art Committee would like to have someone else on the team to have access to editing the main page and other locked pages for the monthly art showcases

I am voting yes on ermin because they need this to be more efficient at their job, which they do excellently at. However, please don't do what you did a few weeks ago with the image caption thing where you essentially got told no by one captain and then tried again with another again.

I'm very glad you brought this up, as I think honesty — both positive and negative — is very important during this kind of decision making; I'm also very glad you were confident enough to vote YES regardless. Don't worry, it won't happen again.
