While SunnyDKnight did fix some issues with the page, the Commonwealth->American spelling change should not have been made.

Hello Zyn,

SCP-7953 (https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-7953/comments/show) by ILikeFoodALot (posted on 16 Nov, 2023 at 07:11, currently at -10 votes), was edited by SunnyDKnight on 16 Nov 2023 at 10:32. The edits included included deleting and rewording several words and sentences.

I believe the edits were made in good faith, but were not approved by ILikeFoodALot, as they fixed some legitimate errors and left this comment:

I guess you didn't get the greenlight so here is my review:

1. The writing can be improved by using more descriptive language to paint a clearer picture of the creature and its abilities. For example, instead of stating that the creature has a "collection of horns" on its head, the writer could describe the horns in more detail, such as their size, shape, and color.

2. you could also improve the writing by providing more context about the Foundation and the purpose of containing SCPs. This would help readers who are not familiar with the SCP Foundation universe to better understand the significance of containing an anomalous creature like SCP-7953.

3. Another way to improve the writing is to provide more detail about the incident that caused the breach of containment. For example, the writer can describe how the doors malfunctioned and the steps that were taken to prevent this from happening again in the future. This would help readers understand the severity of the situation and the importance of taking measures to prevent future incidents.

Overall I like this +1.

I have copied and pasted their comment (the original version), for posterity.

I reported this same behavior from the same user a week ago to OriTiefling about a week ago (I was unaware of Ori's hiatus).

SunnyDKnight edited a tale called "All Quiet at Site-131", that was in deletion (including both legit grammar and formatting corrections and deleting + rephrasing words/sentences), and was deleted by the time Ori received my message. Ori logged my message and asked me to alert staff if I saw similar activity.

I believe SunnyDKnight means well, but probably hasn't read the Site Rules as closely as they should.

I took a look at the page, and while there were some legitimate corrections (e.g., adding necessary hyphens), at least half the changes were unnecessary (changing "is able to" to "can", changing "has been shown to be able to" to "can") or were both unnecessary and introduced an error (changing "amnestics" to "amnesties").

I've sent the user a PM. If they continue to make unauthorized edits of this nature, we move to a revoke.
