Kinda weird that my first post here is a hiatus notice, but eh.
So I recently finished college, meaning I can now build a portfolio and find a full time job. The problem however, is that during my time at college — especially recently — my mental issues have effectively been giving me super-mega-procrastination that I physically can't deal with outside of actual god damn miracles and sheer god damn willpower.
This super-mega-procrastination, unsurprisingly, is often caused by distractions, namely the internet. So, as an extreme measure to help deal with this and actually get shit done, I've told my dad to lock the house wifi from me as of tomorrow, meaning I won't be online for quite some time, and thus can't perform staff work.
Unfortunately I can't meaningfully provide an end date for this, other than guessing it'll be anywhere from 2 to 4 months… probably. On the bright side I can absolutely guarantee that I'll return to the wiki eventually, cos I love this community and the universe too much not too. Now all the lovey-dovey mushy-gushy stuff aside, there are some things I ask of the folks at licensing before I go offline:
On my licensing sandbox (linked here), there are drafts for both particularly tricky license boxes that I haven't finished yet, and drafts made preemptively for the newly forming image replacements "subteam" (to go on a brief tangent, if any of you have mod powers or are decent at photoshop, please offer to help them; locke & riemann have been working their asses off tryna get it going and could use a little help lol).
So yeah, if anyone in licensing has time, SCP-4991, SCP-715, djkaktus's Proposal III & SCP-4444 need doing (kaktus' proposal in particular has been put off for way too long and may require multiple people to look over, as it's probably the longest licensebox on the entire wiki, being about 3 time larger than 7000's by my estimates); Contact who you need to, and please add entries matching the ones present on the history list (preferably attributing yourselves as doing it on my behalf). The rest are for use by locke & riemann and co (6765 has ai images so leave that to kaktus to replace at his pace).
As a final word, I wanna illustrate that technically this is all only mostly true; see, I've only finished my college assignments, not the whole course, although it might as well be finished since all they want me to do is keep attending till the end of the year without actually attending classes, instead using their studios, instruments, and other resources as much as possible. This is relevant because the college have their own wifi, meaning I still have internet there and might be online occasionally, but not nearly as much as I normally would. You can check if I'm online with discord (SCPD, 19cord, Licensing, MAST, Staffcord, and Rewrite).
