Summary:
A open forum for the discussion of a definition of duties
I would like to add a new obligation: provide backup for any deletions or banning. This could be as simple as stating the reason why a page was deleted and a brief description of what the page was, or posting on the forums that a user was banned and the reasons why, with links to logs if necessary.
This might help avoid the syndrome of people logging on on Monday and wondering what the hell happened over the weekend. The site is on fire and half the users are banned and no one can tell us why, that sort of thing.
Actually, yeah, I really agree to that. It's one of my pet peeves.
A good idea. Also, i totally forgot that Mods are able to delete pages. I think they should retain that ability, and i apologize for omitting it in the "rules"

Alrighty, it's been awhile, and with the implementation of the application quiz, i think this topic could use some revival.
I would like to implement a set of rules like those detailed above. I know I've missed some things, so i would like some feedback on what needs to be added/removed/changed.
I think the best plan for this will be to create a draft of the rules as they would be posted, and allow people to discuss and edit them at will. If possible, i would like to get the rules drawn up and finished by this time next week. Once that is done, we'll all "sign" it, and that will be the law.
How do you feel about this? good idea/bad idea? going too fast?
