For the sake of "just in case", should someone send a polite heads-up to a wikidot staff member about this threat? I'd like to get some confirmed assurance that they'll at least let someone on site staff know if they receive a complaint about one of our writers.

— it is not policy to delete staff members' posts (especially with replies) with the staff chat name in them. Editing them is sufficient. In general, staff, please err on the side of not deleting posts in the future.

This person just baffles me. Assuming they're not just lulztrolling (yeah, big assumption, I know), I don't get what their actual complaint is. They've got some sort of rage-hardon for kaktus, but descended so quickly into abuser/gaslighting¹ territory that it's ridiculous.

On the safe side, someone ought to contact Wikidot admins to apprise them of the situation, in case this person actually tries to follow through.

The biggest problem I'm having is, seen by an unknowledgeable member of the chat, it makes us look bad, like we're shutting down someone with legit complaints… But, if they had legift harassment complaints,a nd brought it to the harassment team, or any Admin, we'd jump on it and look into it… But as it stands, they're just hefting around complaints with no basis, and bald ass threats.

Just for clarity, the user DID lay out their specific complaint. Their specific complaint is that kaktus wrote a sexy doorknob -J article. This is specifically what they mean by kaktus raping them, etc.

It's not that they're not giving us evidence, it's that they're saying kaktus' article is literally raping them by its existence on the wiki.

As an aside, I happen to dislike that article myself, and yes, on feminist grounds. However, I would also strongly recommend against kaktus outright deleting the article to try to make this stop (as I know he at least briefly considered), even though I personally dislike it. If he does that, it will just encourage this person to go further. Observe already how they're demanding that his wikidot account be deleted, and even demanding that he be dead. This isn't about that article whatsoever, it's about terrorizing our community in general and kaktus specifically.
