It was brought to staff's attention that Sirslash47 has made several threats to take legal action against the wiki over the last several months:
There is a precedent on the wiki set by the disciplinary action of fishmonger and Carlitos, as well as the wider trend from websites like Wikipedia, etc, that we are not obligated to platform those threatening us with lawsuits, and such action has in the past earned a permanent ban.
That said, it was also noted that Sirslash took this action in response to a miscommunication with an AHT report they had made they felt was not being addressed. In actuality, the complaint (processed by Mann) had been run and determined to be lacking in anything actionable by AHT/failure of follow-up after the decision was made.
As a result, it was determined the best course of action here was Sirslash to receive a disciplinary warning, as making idle threats of legal action is not something to be taken lightly, with the knowledge that continuation of such action would result in disciplinary action against them up to a ban. Vivarium fielded this as a go-between with sirslash who is aware of this setup.
