Sooo… this has been on my mind for quite some time lately, but I decided it's finally time to pull the trigger.
During the past few months, I've been reflecting on how my perspective of the site has changed, and what I noticed didn't really please me. Long story short, I became a cog in the machine and stopped enjoying the site per se; I haven't read an article in months, nevermind writing one. I want to go back to being a regular Joe, reading the fresh stuff, writing when I get inspiration, not having to worry whether murder should be handled by Disc or AHT (for legal reasons, the last one was a joke).
To top it all off, I really haven't been performing my staff duties these past months, and feel like I'm just occupying a spot for the sake of it. In my stead, MAST has some new vice captains which I fully trust will manage the position well.
So yeah, I'll be fully retiring from my position as staff. It's been a good ride, I feel like I've given back to a community that has given me wonderful stories, and I'm happy to have met some really great people in here. I'll stick around the casual channels in staffchat, so feel free to hit me up if you wanna talk about food lol.
