User ViewerOvIniquity (site member 146 days, Wikidot member 155 days) has caused several incidents on the forums now.

Previously, they had caused some minor issues with contentless feedback and mini-backseating, but recently their thread on Nazi Space Lasers has been getting a fair amount of attention: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-14478844/seeking-greenlights-nazi-space-laser#post-5206978

Despite attempts from multiple individuals explaining why using Nazism frivolously was not a good idea, the user continuously defended their usage of it, going as far as to retroactively change their reasoning for its inclusion and inspiration in order to make their case. Throughout the lifespan of the thread, the user made some concerning comments,some of which they themselves acknowledged were out of line:

As for the narrative, this is an idea. And so much as I'd like to brainstorm on IRC, I can't, because I fucked up in a stupid way and have a ban, which was extended to 6 months due to my social skills having been created inside of hell's stinking asshole.

I bring this up sometimes to throw any and all expectations for my manners out the window, and discredit my own advice in the process. Also, I just like to know what people think about my mistakes, because how am I supposed to improve on my social skills if I don't socialize with people, especially regarding my demeanor.

Okay, to clarify on the nazi point, It's Funny. As for the narrative, again, I only bother with writing things in detail if I'm allowed to. If I'm not told I can do it, then I would have wasted effort on nothing.

I just added the Nazis on impulse to justify the aesthetic of the SCP. As an afterthought, I came up with quite a few good reasons, but mostly I just thought "Nazis like gunmetal and industrial desgin" well, So do I.

Based on all the behavior documented above, the Forum Criticism Team has concluded that standard escalation is necessary due to how the individual fails to display an improvement or change in behavior.

Upon reading the above, I am in agreement with the Forum Crit Team's conclusion. We are at the point of escalation, as this user is not getting it. With all the above, I would consider us past the point of an official warning, as they have been warned and then some.

Recommending revocation of site membership, with escalation to a short ban on the following infraction.

Noting that staff have received complaints regarding numerous unsolicited messages sent by this user. Discussion has been underway regarding potential escalation of disciplinary action due to their prior mainsite and chat history.

Their continued problem behavior while revoked has made me concerned. Consequently I am supporting a short ban of a week instead of readmitting them so they understand their behavior needs to change.

Noting that I received a PM from them today, titled "Apology and Response Regarding Absence & Unresponsiveness":

Zyn1, I have become aware today that disciplinary and cautionary measures were taken against me due to my lack of recourse, and that a week-long ban was levied against me as per staff consensus, as logged within the thread located here within the disciplinary record of my account.
As I can extrapolate from the non-disciplinary logs here, my insolence, arrogant insistence on the validity of my rather mediocre SCP draft's use of a cliché villain organization, and apparent disingenuous tone and behavior as noted many times prior, which very well implicated me as nothing more than a low effort troll, inevitably resulted in further moderative action, and a well-justified air of suspicion and disdain from the staff.
From the tone of the staff messages posted in these threads, I very much came off as an idiotic, alt-right, trolling scamp who thought he was clever for coming up with overplayed, cliched ideas and very (un)subtly coming across as a dismissive, bigoted knobhead. And, to clarify, I am not secretly alt-right or bigoted. However, I came across as incredibly passive-aggressive due to my apparent insubordination and misperceived sarcasm. In reality, I was only being very much dense and insincere. The lack of engagement or care has the same root cause as my year's delay in responding to the administrative concern and criticism of my (rather shoddy) writing. I simply had completely lost interest by the time the week's ban was given.2
I would reply or remove my awful idea draft, but my account has apparently been shadow-banned from viewing the forum pages on the mainsite, so I can't go over anything, accurately critique my own work, or apologize to the users who viewed the post, which is a mild inconvenience, but from what I remember the backstory and my attempts to justify it were hot garbage. I'll check on it if you decide to be generous and give me access, but I know from past experience that my attitude and demeanor have worn away, almost entirely, your capacity for leniency regarding, well, yours truly, so I shouldn't expect anything more than a reluctant acknowledgement of my existence, which is more than I deserve by the site's standards anyway. However, I would feel divinely priveliged to engage cordially with the staff, and hopefully reconcile for my past immaturity.

1. I apologize if you find it irritating that I messaged you to discuss my actions and lack of response. As my disciplinary arbiter, so to speak, and consequently the person who I can assume to be most interested in any potential apology or interpersonal communication regarding my uncouth or perhaps unintentionally transgressive behavior, I reasoned that the most reasonable person to contact would be you. I understand if a lengthy footnote like this is suspicious on my part, but I need to clarify my reasoning as for contacting staff, as I am aware that unnecessary, frivolous, or badgering messages may very well qualify as harassment, which should go without saying, is the reason for the most recent disciplinary escalation towards my account. I actually wanted to make a group message, but that apparently is not something that can be done with wikidot pms. I pray you forgive me for another one of my excessive and perhaps patronizing blitherings being injected into your inbox.
2. my memory is a little fuzzy on these events, if I did engage or otherwise send messages AFTER the week's ban, which would contradict my statement, please do not cite it as an indicator of dishonesty. You don't know me in person, but if you did, at the very least you would be aware my memory is always shot full of holes.

I checked the banlist; I believe the ban was lifted today after someone prompted another admin?

I just wanted to apologize and hope to ease any future tensions may have with staff. I know my ban was lifted ages ago, just wanted to start off fresh with the staff.😊

Yes. Reading this, it sounds like character fodder much more well equipped for a tale or a brief cameo in someone else's idea.
Also, psst, if you want to make a character like this, hide them behind a mediocre-ly constructed front of an SCP, and basically reduce the idea to a footnote in the narrative section, and then, IF you get draft permissions?
Then you can try to pass this by.

My point is, it could work, but it's not standalone article levels of anomalous or grand or well developed. It's the character you develop as the narrative focus of another article. And for that, this passes. It just- doesn't strike me as unique enough.

Yeah… It has less narrative cohesion than my ideas, which have heavily omitted plot deets as opposed to what I know I want to write, because I'm not an A-class typer in the slightest and can't bring myself to actually put it in the post, knowing full well that there are people with worse organization that get greenlights.

I mean, yes, it does. I'm aware that context is key, and that this can work with a little bit of tweaking. But if it's too overdone, a la SPAMTON G. SPAMTON, I'm well inclined to call out the idea for being, potentially, very grating in a way, I, personally, and potentially others, would hate to read.
Constructive syntax is good, but it can be overdone, and gimmicks should never overstay their welcome.

Noting that I received another long PM from the user, which I will not be porting here as it contains a considerable amount of personal information. There was a mention of being unsure of when the critban would be lifted (the user stated, "I have no idea when it will be revoked, but keep it up for 4 days minimum.").

As such, I replied noting:

Critique bans typically last until the user in question has posted a successful page to the mainsite.
