User cybersqyd has recently engaged in discourse on the September Recap page, initially raising valid concerns, but later resorting to sarcasm and "toeing the line" type of behaviour when replying to good-faith responses.
I'm glad that a handful of people in one part of the community have confirmed that the whole community supprots this. I retract all my concerns as a result.
Sir do you understand what a recap is?
(later edited to clarify the latter was a genuine question, however the tone is moderately accusatory)
EstrellaYoshte has suggested keeping the discussion civil in a JS post, to which cybersqyd replied with:
Ah, sorry EstrellaYoshte, you're right, my slight level of snark towards someone who has run a months long harassment campaign against many people I consider good friends, including leading to multiple of them resigning from staff and stepping back from the site, is completely inappropriate and I'm sorry that members of the site had to see that.
It is worth noting that cybersqyd has a history as a former Disc member, thus having knowledge of where the line would be drawn (and still replying in a sarcastic manner to a JS post explicitly asking for civil discussion).
