As of the 21st September 2021, ownership of the SkipIRC network has been passed from pxdnbluesoul to
Kufat. In addition, the following users have been given IRC operator1 status;
DrMagnus,
MalyceGraves,
DrBleep,
LilyFlower, and
ChaoSera.
ProcyonLotor, Tuomey Tombstone does not match any existing user name and
Dexanote will retain IRC operator permissions.
DrBleep will act as the liaison between the IRC operator team and site staff, whilst
LilyFlower will act as the liaison between the IRC operator team and chat staff.
There should be no change to the average user experience on SkipIRC, and outwith those already members of chatstaff, network operators will have no say in the running or management of #site19. The handover will allow for the better determent of trolls and abusive users on the network.
