Hmm. Some queries from me:
1. Is the title up for change? "Reading Gateway" or "Database Introduction" or the like, so it's distinct from other guides that aren't as interactive/full of links to click.
2. I feel like currently, the setup is a little unapproachable and bland-colored. I feel like if this is meant to be a reference page people repeatedly return to, it could help to color-code some of the sections and also make the places where links/lists pop up more eyecatching.
3. Given that the bit about the rules is first, I'm not sure how many readers will go through the entire page if they don't immediately see what they're looking for. (To be honest, I'm also not sure the Rules section needs to be as long as it currently is.)
4. This currently seems a little… unfocused, I guess? It's got elements of the Guide for Newbies in it (rules, interaction with community, etc.) and doesn't quite always tie into the "reading the site" umbrella. I feel like this could be easily addressed by having the sections relabeled? So the rules bit can have details about reading-related conduct expectations, such as voting and commenting. Ditto for interactions with the community, maybe specifically feature discussion threads that may be of interest to readers in particular, such as the Introductions forum section for readers, the Foundation Universe forum for discussing lore, and the Fan Work forum for looking at additional media.
5. Could just be the recovering college student in me, but… any chance we could slim down some of the paragraphs so the overall page has less of a technical manual flavor and more of a… I guess edutainment approach kind of feel?
