User Templer, now Dr Templar (member 7 days, wikidot 41 days) deleted and re-posted their SCP-6000 contest entry, which was cause for it to be disqualified. They have been exasperated in the comments of their entry, responding several times to staff members, double-posting, and generally engaging in excessive comment behavior. taylor_itkin does not match any existing user name called for their membership to be revoked, with Jacob Conwell, Tuomey Tombstone does not match any existing user name, and myself assenting.

Hello, this is aismallard from the SCP Wiki Disciplinary Team.

As noted in your disciplinary thread, your membership has been revoked due to excessive comments and several instances of double-posting (which is against the rules).

This is not a ban, and you may re-apply for membership after 24 hours.

I received the following PM from Templer does not match any existing user name:

But my last message was literally me thanking a more senior member for informing me that I could just edit the comments instead of commenting again.. I'm new and didn't know you couldn't post a lot of comments? And as far as the "several instances of double posting" what does that even mean? If your refferring to the fact that I stupidly made an original and updated version of the same page before deleting the original one, that's not "several" times, that's once? :/ I just don't get why my membership is being revoked for still learning…

Noting that they coldposted yet another page currently in deletion: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-5258 which they are up to revision 50 on. They are not a member of the sandbox.

Upon reading the comments here, I have edited now to have a better format (so as to make it easier to read) in the meantime, please try not to rate on the format or if there are any other useful tips please let me know :)

Noting here that Templer has violated their Tagging C&D by improperly tagging 5258 linked above by Zyn. C&D is noted above by Vivarium. I'm moving to issue a short ban in line with standard escalation as they have already been revoked for previous disc behavior.

Templer then apologized and then responded in what I would consider to be an appeal.

Noting that Vivarium, the junior staffer who issued the C&D received the following PM from this user.

"What?? I went right into the list of tags and was VERY careful to only pick 3 that I was unquestionably certain were relevant tags, could you please at the very least explain to me which part of my tags was so messed up that I deserved a 24 hour ban, please?"
