This isn't an appeal but rather a personal apology for my behavior, to both you and the SCP staff at large.
I acted too quickly on something I didn't fully understand, and in a way that was disruptive and ultimately unhelpful whatsoever.
There is simply too much drama going on with too few people to handle it, for me to whine about something that happened 11 years ago.
I appreciate your patience with me. I'll see about getting that appealed over IRC but I wanted to say I'm sorry outside of that context because I realize now that while everyone will appeal and apologize to you as staff, fewer still apologize to you as people. That sounded cheesy, but I wanted to let you know that I shouldn't have done that irrespective of what was going on. If anything I need this ban. Taking a break, so to speak, seems like a good idea. But it's been a couple of days.

Not opposed to shortening this from perma, but it still needs to be a long ban.
More information became available, let's keep it perma.
I am voting to decline the appeal on the face of it. Vandalism is not ok.
That being said, I will not object to commuting this to a yearlong.
After more information was made available, I am now strongly advocating for declining the appeal and making the ban permanent.
