New member of the site Dr Pumkin does not match any existing user name (formerly Brett carlson) recently posted what looks like an author page, titled "Dr.Pumkins file", which consisted solely of the following:

NAME: Dr.Pumkin (Real name

Of note, their Wikidot profile lists their birthday as 19 Jan 2001, which by my math, makes them 14 and thus underage.

I've flagged; can we get an admin to revoke and ban?

Pretty sure they're back as Dr Carlson, given that the account is 5 days old, Pumkin's last activity was 5 days ago, and I received a PM from pumkin a few days ago consisting of the following:

Got a PM today:

I was banned a bit ago for being underage. But I am now 15 and would like to apply.
When I try to apply on the SCP wiki I don't have acces to the page. So how can I apply?

Given that they weren't just underage and also ban-evaded/sockpuppeted, I asked them for an appeal. Will post content of said appeal when they send it. Hopefully that year away from the site did them some good, but I'd like to see some evidence of that if it is indeed the case.

They're probably trying to tell you they can't join because the Joint page says they already did. Advise them to delete the application message and they should be able to apply again.

Dear staff,

A while ago I was banned for being underage, and then I made a alternate account knowing it was against the rules. I now realize that was a very dumb thing to do. After being banned I then waited till I was 15. Now I hope I can be forgiven for these actions and let back into the SCP community.

I'm alright with letting the kid in. Thoughts from others?

I'm kinda torn on this but I am leaning towards giving him a pass on this one and just keep him on a short leash.

And it's been over a month, geez. I'm fine with letting the kid back in, with the short leash caveat given how much of a headache their previous behavior was.
