Due to the sheer volume of attention that the wiki has received in recent weeks thanks to coverage from multiple extremely high profile YouTubers as well as the ongoing jam contest, the ideas forum has been an absolute wreck. As stated in her call to action thread, Zyn herself took twenty ideas threads yesterday. That is an unsustainable level of activity.
The new template policy has helped some new users get a better idea of what the wiki is looking for, but I feel that Forum Crit desperately needs a way to stem the tide when things get busiest: during contests, over holiday breaks, after a big youtuber makes a video about us, etc.
As such, I am proposing a series of boilerplate responses for the ideas forums which are only to be used via Crit Team Captain Fiat. The boilerplates can be seen at the following collaborative sandbox: http://topia.wikidot.com/collab:critforumtemplate
Presently, three idea crit auto-defers are being proposed: one for failing to complete the template, one for failing to include a narrative, and one for extremely poor spelling and grammar. To be clear, these are not the sort of responses that anybody on the crit team would like to see used on a daily basis, but they would prove immeasurably useful when things get especially bad.
