New user Dr X Factor (whose account is, as of this thread creation, 4 hours old) recently sent me the following PM:

What does the "Level of Clearance" mean when I tried looking at SCP-1 and SCP-2?
I'll stay away from those and any above my clearance, but I just want to know what it means exactly and how to know if I have a level of clearance.

PMed them back with the usual "Foundation is not real, you don't have a clearance read whatever you like, here are links to the FAQ and Security Clearance writing guide].

Seeing as they aren't a member of the site yet, might want to keep an eye out for them.

Thank you for the links, they certainly helped. I will contact you in the future with any other question I have, and thank you for responding to my first question in the time you did. I've been in group sites like this and it takes a week minimum for administrators to respond.

Assume you are an administrator of SCP, so I will ask you if its OK if I create a Facebook group that is an RP themed after SCP?

This one I replied to, with links to Meet the Staff and the Licensing Guide and "no I am not site admin". Licensing Team, you're up (potentially).

You may not be an administrator, but you do hold a higher power over the wiki page, so I want it cleared that if I do get approved that I'm not gonna steal ideas of others. It would be a group rule that a link and author name needs to be provided for any SCPs used in posts and/or of an SCP's likeness.

Just so my intentions are clear, its just gonna be a goofy RP group that may or may not even workout. But its in no way a way to rob others of their work. I know how that feels to be robbed of a creation and don't wish to impose that feeling on others. […]

I told him that someone on Licensing would help him out.
