So, I uh, got a PM from SCP-2167 about an hour ago, with the following:

Hey Zyn can you ask the owner if I can make my own SCP Foundation as a branch off? Called SCP 2? Just Wondering :)

Anyway, sent them a PM telling them that someone on Licensing would message them, and to read the Licensing Guide etc.

Hello,

I am Gaffney, the head of Licensing for the SCP Foundation and I understand that you want to create your own version of the SCP wiki. From a licensing standpoint, there are just a few things that you need to do. First, the SCP Foundation uses the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike license, which means that you can create, distribute, copy, etc. anything from the SCP Foundation, provided that a) you attribute the SCP Foundation and specific authors, if any, of the work you're using b) all content that you create based on SCP Foundation stuff (e.g. the SCP document format, the idea of the SCP Foundation, groups of interest, etc.) must be released under the Creative Commons Attributive Share-Alike license as well. As long as you fulfill these two requirements, you are more than welcome to create whatever you please (however, it is considered common courtesy to ask the author of an article before using any of their material).

He also needs to be told that some of the material on the site isn't CC-BY-SA 3.0, like the 173 picture and the scant few other things, including images, that have separate rules.
