Due in part to the troll issues on 03/09/15, I've put #site19 on +s. For those uninformed, or curious about the difference between +s and +p, note below:
+s: Channel mode +/- s enables or disables the secret mode for a channel. Secret channels do not show up in someone's whois reply (unless when you are in the secret channel with that user) and do not show up in the channel list (/list) either.
+p: Channel mode +/- p enables or disables the private mode for a channel. Private channels do not show up in someone's whois reply (unless when you are in the private channel with that user).
In other words, #site19 will no longer appear to outside users if they /whois somebody, nor will it appear if you use the /list command. This shouldn't affect anybody's use of the channel, and is only used to deter users from showing up in #site19 from other channels. Pretty standard.
An additional note: for the time being, let's just consider it policy to, if any persistent trolls show up in #site17 (specifically the one we're all aware of), ops and hops should use the command [ /mode #site17 +m ] to turn on channel muting. We don't need to hear anything that they have to say, and this is the best way to assure that happens.
If anybody has any questions or concerns, please feel free to voice them.
