Ok so earlier in #site17 this conversation occurred.
Long story short, Armstrong heard that we didn't have enough outside references for a wikipedia page, and decided to take it upon himself to contact the magazine at this (https://www.writers-online.co.uk/) address. When asked to provide the actual featurette by one of the assistant editors, he sent them this:
…which probably isn't exactly what we're going for, but, it's all good.
So, acting in the name of community outreach, I sent the following email to the assistant editor in question:
To which she responded:
So at this point, I'm going to tell her yes (that we'll get her something), since it would be a dick move at this point to complete withdraw, I think. That being said, we need to write up a new 300-ish word spiel. This should not be "in character" so the suggestion in that conversation of just using the Administrator's Note is right out. If nobody else is interested, I'd be more than willing to draft something up, but I want this to be a group effort. Regardless of the nature of this publication, it's still a publication, and it's an example for us to show a public face, officially. We need to decide how we want to be seen by the literary community at large. And we have a week.
