So after a short discussion about this nerd some people became concerned that data on 05 isn't necessarily safe from a full purge by Wikidot. While I personally don't believe that Wikidot would do anything more than just delete specific posts (like they have done with Fekket stuff a few years ago), I thought it'd be best to err on the side of caution.
So I made a temporary, non-Wikidot 05command at
http://05-command.boards.net/ .
As far as I can tell it should have the same basic functionality as these boards: anyone can view, only members can post and reply. Here, we can carry on 05 stuff outside of wikidot.
I do not think we need to import the ENTIRE archive. Instead, I think we should create new threads and copypaste relevant information, as new information becomes available. So like we don't need to have a thread on 051.5 about some random spammer from 2010, but further info about marsdenisarobot or the abovelinked dude might go on there.
I don't think we should IMMEDIATELY jump into using these boards until most people have accounts and stuff set up there. Maybe this time next week, if people are on board.
Registration is restricted, and so far, there's only like four people there (myself, and a few people who helped me test the place last night). I need to go to work soon, so I ask people who want to go and apply now, under their names they use on 05, and I'll approve and organize stuff tonight when I'm home.
I'll respond to this thread as I can at work. I'm doing a slow job tonight so I should be able to keep up easily.
