User alander (manster on chat, detail of permaban here: http://05command.wikidot.com/forum/t-1009688/manster) has recently made some edits that required staff to step in.
- Researcher Robert Sandler's personnel file (took out mention of a deleted/strikethrough'd article once attributed to the author)
- Dr. Light's Personnel File (added in SCP-019)
- SCP-2900 (made a substantial wording change to a sentence)
They've also done a spelling fix, cleared the title of a deleted SCP from the series III mainlist, and bolded names in an interview that already had them italicized. I'm guessing they mean well, but given their chat presence, I'm really uncomfortable with the way they're just diving right into edits and tossing a "revert if necessary" over their shoulder instead of contacting the authors before making substantial changes.
I'm fine with their spelling fixes, but everything else seems unnecessary.
Edit: Sent them a PM telling them to ask for permission before making changes, and to not change any author pages without express permission. Also leaving clearing titles of SCPs to people who run deletions, because we really don't need someone camping the series list to snipe name clearing when the person running the deletion is perfectly able to do so themselves.
