User Aristheides recently posted to SCP-2137's discussion thread, replying to a staff post by weizhong asking everyone to hold off on hero worshipping its author.
Can you put any references of "fan-worship"? Were there some creepy or abusing messages coming to Max's inbox? Because all I have seen in this thread was a few people asking "Hey, are you Max Landis? I liked your work."
Once again, I get that the staff members need to show off how they have everything in control, but sometimes it is more embarassing than serving. Did you, for example, check some of the daily contents of EchoFourDelta's chat messages?
This is passive-aggressive nonsense in itself, but a cursory look at their posting history reveals that out of the 6 total posts made on this wiki, a solid 4 have been either veiled or open antagonism towards staff or other members.

You ought to lead by example.

If it wasn't already obvious with the religious containment procedures and Cain and Abel being mentioned, then yes, I think it was intended that this SCP is an angel guarding Eden. ._.Aristheides 5 Jun 2014, 09:54
And maybe you should just chill out,not everyone has the same experience on-site as you.

I beg your pardon? No, not cool. Aelanna is a staff member. Telling new members to watch out for the people who are actively trying to make the site better? That's a dick move. Do not do such things, or it will lead to your banning.Aristheides (0 on 2014-05-16) 8 May 2014, 11:21
No, not really- One thing is making the site actively better and another making the user experience worse- He mentioned a legitimate experience shared by many users of this site.
Not arguing for disciplinary action, but I'd definitely say it warrants keeping an eye on them.
