Real life is kicking my ass right now, so I'm going to be a bit less active, mostly in chat. I'll still be active on the forum and the main wiki though, no need to burn my mod hat just yet. ;)

Short notice, but I'm going to be in a training course all week from 9 till 4 UTC, so I won't be on chat and only sporadically on the wiki. Burn everything, especially that dress.

Do you do that standing fire log thing where you only partially cut the log and set the fire in the middle? I've always wanted to try that.

Also, booze can help with increasing the cheer levels. Try some spiked eggnog or mulled cider.

The Holidays are upon us and it is therefore time to stuff my kids and the contents of our house into a shitty van, and haul it all off to a cabin to spend Christmas bickering, crying and setting fire to stuff. There might also be cheer, you never know.

Anyway, I'll be gone from the 24th until the 28th. I'll be checking up on the wiki, but not chat. Feel free to run amuck while I'm gone, as long as there's a mop and bucket for me when I return, I'm all good.

So, next Monday my wife and I will be leaving for our Delayed Blast Honeymoon (Evocation). We'll be at Schiphol Airport on Monday and flying to the States on Tuesday the 23rd. That means I'll probably be off the grid from Monday the 22nd until Thursday the 1st of October, though knowing myself, I'll be peeking in now and again.

Regardless of said peeking, it has been made known to me by certain parties that non-honeymoon business conducted on a honeymoon is punishable by a slow torturous death and, valuing my testicles a great deal, I have declined to argue.

So with that said, here's to sun, good food and all things USian. ;)

Edit: I have asked Accelerando to fill in for me for my time away. If he pulls a coup, by all means make him change his username to Generallisimo Accelerando.

Did I tell you about the time when I set fire to a small field in the middle of a blazing summer and blamed it on some imaginary kid I said I saw speeding away from the scene? Cause I totes did. I don't think I'm nervous. :P

Seriously, I'm pretty sure my dad grew prematurely grey because of my obsession with household chemicals and open flames. I was not a very unadventurous kid, so to say.

I'll have fun though. It's a week of hard work, but it's always worth it. :)

So every year I volunteer for one or two weeks (depending on the amount of days off I can get) to help out with volunteer work. Next week is going to be that week. I'll be on the wiki now and then, but not in chat.

Do burn the place down; we could use the insurance money.
