Since I've been back, I've been accused REPEATEDLY of attention-grabbing/whoring when that is not even close to my intent whatsoever.
The moderation here, in my opinion, would be a lot better if this "Witch hunt" on attention whores were to stop, where the staff accuse people of this with no real evidence.

Honestly, this isn't just an SCP Wiki problem. Roleplaying Amino is getting a lot of it too, to the point where people are going out of their way to literally harass and bully the staff team, to the point where it forced one of our curators onto Hiatus.
Seriously. This is getting old. The staff here are just doing their jobs. Same thing goes for most other sites in similar situations.

I don't think anyone's made such a list. From what I'm aware of, people tend to fix SPaG errors when they see them.

That said, if you're intending to go through mainlist articles to fix SPaG mistakes, please be careful about intentional errors followed with [sic] or noted to be for stylistic purposes.

Given the user's history of interacting poorly with staff members (and the fact that they accused Coony of having read the post "too fast" after the OP edited their post to make the situation clearer) I'm inclined to remain wary.

That said, I was the one who mentioned the initial "is mod? is trying to earn mod?" post to Coony and asked him to staffpost on that asking for an explanation, so I apologize for that snowball fiasco that resulted.

In an effort to remain neutral, I'm not going to call for immediate re-banning. I am, however, concerned about this repetitive behavior not even a day into their re-entering the site.

I'm abstaining from the appeal vote. Given how involved I was in the buildup leading to the original ban and how repeatedly disappointed I was by this user's behavior, I feel I'd be rather biased in my decision.

Zyn, following AlexTSB's return to the CI Wiki, I've been getting complaints about his behavior. He's incredibly annoying for most, and has done no other thing on the site than ranting in the forums about staff abuse of power. Any advice on dealing with him? Thanks.

I told them to get a non-staff member to talk to the guy, and if necessary, tell staff to enact discipline. Frankly, all this guy seems to be doing is complaining about all the other sites that he already got kicked out of.

oh yea, forgot to mention, I am back on the CI wiki, and tell the staff if they decide to follow me to the CI wiki to mess with me again and ban me from #basesix I will report them. Thats what they did when I got banned, followed me to the CI wiki then looked for a reason to ban me.

Given that #basesix was where the discussion that led to me intervening on this guy's behalf took place, this guy seems more than willing to burn all the bridges he's got left. I didn't respond to this PM. I don't think there are many redeeming factors left for this case, if any.

3) Banned him for retaliating with obscene ASCII art

So, basically what I'm getting here is that he wants there to be an exception to Rule #1 ("don't be a dick"), in which it's okay to be a dick to staff by engaging in abusive (see what I did there?) behaviour such as swearing at us and posting obscene ASCII art at us. If he'd done that towards any non-staff user, he would still be Perma'd.

Hell, we'd probably come down on him worse if he were acting like that to a non-staff user, because there's a fair chance the Harassment Taskforce would get involved.

I am so negative towards staff because staff always abuse. Thats why my staff on The Gmod server i managed never abused, cause they know if they did so much as look at a player funny I would demote and possibly ban them. You're not allowed to appeal a permanent ban until a year after the ban was instated. I got that down to six months (you can appeal on December 29).

That said, given your behavior towards staff, I highly doubt that anyone will accept your appeal before the year-long wait is up, sorry.
