How about we have people act to their strengths? Some work on monsters, some work on SCPs, some work on characters, that kind of thing?

I've actually been working on one of these passively for a while now, but I'm glad to see that there's more interest for it than I expected. Neat.

And, I don't think a contest would be a good idea. Maybe just get some users who have a few articles and get them to write one part of the branch. If they have a specific target and goal, its more likely to get done.

True. Well, what would you suggest then? I mean, I'd write the thing myself, but that's a lot of work, and I'd rather have some help to be honest.

I'm more or less against contests in general. They make one piece of writing more "valid" than another, which is not a good thing. That is, people view contest submissions as more important than regular submissions, which devalues work motivated by true inspiration rather than desire for acclaim.

Should we hold a contest over the CYOA? A group of users will be credited in the creation of SCP for the game. These SCPs won't appear on the main wiki, and will probably be exclusive for it. Anyone think this is a good idea, or even a passable one?
