We (the people who pages fail) are sorry that you have to go around cleaning up our mess while some try their hardest but some lazily write a scip or tale. We are sorry because we know that we should spend more time and hard work on our story whether that be scip or tale we truly are sorry. There are people who aren't sorry for their mess or trolling but screw them.

The actionable part was the spamming, not the lack of taking in feedback.

The Site Rules do state, "If a staff member asks you to change something about your behavior, or to temporarily stop making certain kinds of posts, please do so. This may take the form of Staff Posts replying to you in the forums; this means that you have the responsibility of returning to recent conversations (or checking Recent Forum Posts) to find out if staff are trying to give you pertinent instructions."

I'm a little concerned about this user effectively wasting the time of reviewers whose efforts would be better spent critiquing works for people who will take the feedback, but I don't think a ban is necessary in this singular post case.

They either did not look at the critque, or they just ignored it and decided to post anyways. Either way, this is not good.

I'm alright with holding off on a ban for now to let the guy decide if he really wants to go on ignoring staff, but given that he's already replied to Sirens and Westrin that he'd use the draft forums and the sandbox more and just… not done as he'd said, there's not much trust from me here.

I'll be PMing him, and requesting as an administrator that he get feedback before posting anything else. If he clearly ignores, i'll support further discipline.

It doesn't really look like they've learned at all.

They have just posted another one, http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2571. Looking at their profile though, they did make a sandbox, but are still not asking for feedback in any manner on the forums.

Morphogenetic_Field has coldposted at least six articles, the fifth of which followed a junior staff member's PM about using the draft forums, and the sixth of which followed a membership revocation because of all the coldposting without seeking feedback on the mainsite (or using the sandbox).

As per the Banning Policy from the Site Rules: http://www.scp-wiki.net/site-rules

The normal policy for punishing offenders breaks down like this:

• Warning
• Short Ban (Usually 24 Hours)
• Long Ban (Usually 48 Hours to a Week)
• Permanent Ban

Given that they've already been told twice by staff members that they need to change their behavior and they haven't listened to said staff members, recommending a long ban. I'm alright with a few days or a week. Thoughts?
