Only personnel with Level 3 or higher clearance are authorized to access the entity, and any interaction requires the presence of two armed agents for security. Surveillance is continuous; in the event of a breach, Protocol Arca is activated. This protocol consists of alerting all agents within a 120m radius to evacuate or attempt recontainment. If the protocol fails, the site must be evacuated, and special forces must be called in for recontainment. The cell is equipped with surveillance cameras and sensors to detect any breach attempt. Its structure is composed of a tungsten-steel alloy. Description: SCP-8382 is a humanoid figure standing 2.20m tall and weighing 149kg. Its skin appears to be made of a black, viscous substance of unknown origin that renders it nearly indestructible. It has four eyes; prolonged eye contact leads to memory loss, fainting, and in some cases, heart attacks. SCP-8382 moves rarely and usually only when unobserved. If damaged, it can regenerate through the viscous substance covering it. It prefers to attack younger humans (ages 23 and under), not for sustenance but seemingly for amusement. At times, it may remain motionless for over a year, after which it becomes aggressive. No tests are permitted during this period without approval from a Level 3 or higher agent. It possesses immense physical strength, capable of lifting up to 1045kg, and can move at speeds of up to 32km/h. Though it shows little initial interest in others present in its cell, it eventually becomes highly aggressive. In testing, only two individuals were unaffected by its anomalous effects, but both died nine days later from unknown causes. Addendum 1: Recovery SCP-8382 was found near a village in the Gennargentu region. It was first sighted by a shepherd who was subsequently attacked. A ⬛⬛⬛⬛ team transported the entity to Site-⬛⬛⬛⬛ for containment. The entity attempted to escape from the helicopter during transport, resulting in the death of Dr. ⬛⬛⬛⬛, but it ultimately failed to escape. Addendum 2: Test At 17:49, a Class-D personnel entered SCP-8382’s cell and was instructed to approach the entity. The Class-D began experiencing memory loss and, after 38 minutes, fainted for 7 minutes. Upon regaining consciousness, SCP-8382 began attacking the subject, breaking their humerus. I don’t really remember much of what happened. Then I fainted, and after I woke up, it began attacking me — as you all saw. End Log Current Status of SCP-8382: Following this experiment, reclassification of the object from Euclid to Keter was considered but not approved by the O5 Council or the Ethics Committee. However, its containment cell has been upgraded to better resist anomalous effects. Addendum 3: SCP-8382 Breach At 04:21, SCP-8382 broke through its cell door, causing chaos in the corridors. As per protocol, agents within 120m were alerted and sent to recontain the anomaly. Four fainted, nine suffered memory loss, and three had heart attacks. Only four survived. The entity attacked, severely injuring two agents and killing one. Special forces were alerted at 05:32 and administered drugs to counter its effects. They secured the surviving agents and attempted recontainment. The anomaly attacked them, forcing the team to trap it in an unstaffed section of the site. At 09:28, the entity was transferred to a new, more secure containment cell. Strangely, once the medication wore off, special forces personnel experienced delayed effects despite no longer being in close proximity to the entity. Three died from heart attacks, one fainted, and two suffered memory loss. This led to the development of new medications to counter SCP-8382’s anomalous effect.
