Ah, let me add that to the discussion

Afto is being nominated for mod tools, through Curations, as a part of the duties with collaboration pages, including pruning and maintenance. Given we have elected to move things like the 914 logs under collaboration pages, which uses locked pages, mod tools would enable afto to effectively do their work, without needing to ping mod tool users for assistance.

To clarify, what specifically does he do in his role that he needs mod tools for? I support overall, he's a good staffer, but Im under the impression mod tools are only given out to those with a specific use for them. I can't support without knowing what he's being put up for.

The Curations Team is putting up Aftokrator for consideration of Mod Tools. As per the New Policy, we will hold discussion on whether or not to grant Mod Tools.

Edit: To clarify the reason, an explanation has been added below for the work Afto would be doing that requires Mod Tools
