This comes across as a personal, and heartfelt appeal. 6 years is more than enough time to come to terms with what you've done, and feel that remorse. Especially considering the age at the time, and where they are now? Kids do stupid things.

I am in favor of lifting the ban. Way more than enough time has passed to provide benefit of the doubt that they are a different person now than the one that did this 6 years ago. Nothing in the appeal concerns/worries me to counteract that.

IRCcloud overides the ident part of a user's hostmask with a unique user id (the sid##### or uid##### thing you'll see in IRCcloud user's user/hostmasks). Using that instead of hostmasks should work fine.

This user has continued to join chat and site under several different nicks and hostmasks, using different tactics to consistently troll multiple channels each time. For the sake of convenience and organizing, a single megathread is made to keep track of this guy. Summary of actions can be found under these threads:

What wasn't covered in the above threads is that earlier tonight, user under an unknown username (no one was able to catch it before he deleted his account) vandalized the three Series pages with the same text. What connects the vandalism to the trolling in chat is the following excerpt from the vandalism:
