I don't know if there is a different process for this, but since you have taken a look at this page. I am requesting that you or someone who can deletes the page https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-14207693/seeking-greenlight-scary-story#post-5093574. I can see that it is taking a lot of negative feedback, even though I believe my SCP to be a good idea. I don't feel comfortable with some of the specific criticism I've received regarding my SCP, and the influx of people claiming that I don't know what I'm talking about. So please have the page removed from the forum if possible. I'd rather not have to see this type of unconstructive criticism again.

Thank You for your input. I have since edited the story, adding a lot more detail. While I wish I could add more, I have to reduce the word count.

However, this isn't a tasteless and worn out trope. The reason this is an interesting SCP is because most "dangerous" SCPs involve horrendously killing people or total destruction of civilization. I wanted to make something that doesn't directly kill or destroy. Instead, it influenced the mind of its reader in an observable and measurable manner. This SCP is not supposed to use the trope of "ooh this schizophrenic person is CRAZY and SCARY", that is your individual interpretation of this article. But not the tone I was going for. Not all instances of this SCP would have to result in murder of course, there would obviously be a lot less extreme circumstances. However, this story is the one that first came to my mind.

Just because this concept isn't new to the wiki doesn't mean I can't still submit it. There are lots of SCPs who have similar functionalities. You also seem to be focusing too much on schizophrenia. Other symptoms includes stress(psychologically and physiologically), insomnia, paranoia, and psychosis. I would also prefer it if you didn't assume I have no knowledge in the field on mental illness. I'm a psychology major and have been interested by mental health issues for years now, and have done significant research on these topics. That shouldn't matter, however, as long as I have what I believe to be an original idea (which it is) and I show respect to the topics I am bringing to light through the SCP (which I am).

The phrase "making people lose control of themselves" is not an accurate representation of this SCP. The symptoms this SCP would have on people are very observable and measurable based on fear, health conditions, number of pages read, etc. Not everything has to be about schizophrenia which is where you're wrong regarding this SCP.

I cannot tell you how much I want to make and publish more stories of people and subjects who have come into contact with this SCP. However, I literally cannot because if I go over the word count for this article, it can't be greenlit.

I hope I only have to say this one last time, but I originally wanted the focus of this SCP to be the condition, research, and treatment of the mental illness. But then I brought it to the chatroom and people started asking me to expand on the backstory of the person. And I can't tell you how much I want to write more about this giving scenarios that don't involve murder, but I can't because of the word limit and people continuously asking "why" questions wanting me to dive deeper into a specific person. So what do I do, do I make multiple shallow stories which will result in people complaining about my surface level engagement? One in-depth story which will result in people complaining about my generalization of everyone with mental disorders?

I thank you for some of the advice you gave me in your second block. However, you're really the first person to give any advice other than "this is overly used and insensitive". So before I edit it more, tell me if you think this SCP has any chance of being greenlit, without changing its core aspect and making everyone happy.

Edit: I don't know why people are doing this. But I get the feeling that a lot of people are taking this SCP too personally. I am doing my best to improve it, but a lot of people with mental disorders seem to be attacking it rather than trying to help me improve it. And using their mental disorder as justification for my stupidity on the subject and the poor quality of the article. That's just a feeling I'm getting though.
