It is my current belief that no member of either team, nor any person acting in concert with them, is responsible for this.

A small but definite faction of users, well known to at least the upper levels of staff, members of which who have engaged in bannable behavior before, are hostile to members of the supposedly "benefiting" team here owing to a dispute over a tale.

At the beginning of the posting period I asked members of staff to watch the "benefiting" team here for evidence of malicious downvoting, owing to this group of disgruntled users' previous statements and behaviors. It seems this faction instead opted for an utterly incompetent and idiotic frame-job instead.

Such timing and voting pattern are fairly clear cut in an attempt to bump the ranking of one team at the expense of another. While it is unclear at this time if these are socks for additional parties on the wiki, what is clear is intent.

Recommended immediate permabans for all the above, as is site-rules for malicious voting efforts.
