Basically anything that you see on the Licensing page that doesn't explicitly say that it's been resolved likely hasn't been resolved; the big thing that's needed is an effective and efficient way of quickly contacting people on sites that…just don't make it easy to contact creators (Google Play, Redbubble, and Amazon come to mind immediately, among others). I'll shoot you a Wikidot PM with any outstanding requests that I've received in person.

So I've had some extreme technological issues this summer, ranging from hardware difficulties (the hinge on my laptop is broken) to software difficulties (I reformatted my computer and lost my XChat access) to existential difficulties (HOW DO YOU LOSE A FUCKING KINDLE, THOUGH), and it's kept me away from my staff duties and the wiki in general. But to be honest, it's been…kinda nice. My interest level in the site has dropped significantly since…probably the GOI contest last year, gradually but irreversibly, and I've felt a growing disconnect between myself and most of the rest of staff as that drop in interest has gone on.

So let's just make it official. Mann tells me Kaktus is already head of Disciplinary; Vince is probably the best qualified at the moment to head Licensing at the moment unless one of the admins wants to take it on for a bit. I'm going on inactive status, effective immediately. If I get the XChat thing worked out, I may pop in from time to time, and if I ever regain an actual interest in the thing that we produce here, I'll be right back on board. But in case it doesn't work out, I love all you guys, and please keep the lights on. Good work happens here, regardless of who's doing it.
