I like the sound of a 24-hour primarily because I think we need something longer later on down the line, and there's no reason to ignore this, let them go on their own little sojourn, and then have them come back with the same behavior later. A 24-hour ban is useless on its own merits (if they're going to be self-removing themselves anyway) but useful in the long run.

I got a PM from a chat user today about someone who had reacted poorly to neutral critique, and, surprise surprise surprise, it was Schrodingers_Kitty. We got both a flip out and yet another of their seriously endless pity parties. I staffposted, but I'd recommend escalation to an official warning on the "I suck feel sorry for me" posts, as this is not the first (or second) time I have received complaints about this user.
e: At no point in that rambling, incoherent post was I even close to anything that could be considered a link… I award myself no points and may god have mercy on my soul.

They retracted their statement when they noticed (they didn't see Roget's staffpost). Personally, I'd really like to see them spending less words on belittling themselves.
