Just letting you know I managed to fix it. I was playing with my add ons on firefox and on Privacy Badger (https://www.eff.org/privacybadger) I allowed the tracker www.scp-wiki.net to track me and everything is back to normal.

This is hardly limited to our site, though. I get similar results from sites from Fallen London to the Huffington Post (lol). I don't think it's a wikidot issue. Just an Internet Thing. (Not technical, though, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

I'm still having the same problem with the wikidot.com site on firefox. I've uploaded an image of what it looks like (I signed out of my account to take the image since it's on a public image sharing site now).

It works fine on Safari but I prefer using firefox. If there are any further thoughts on how to fix it I'd greatly appreciate any information.

You can log onto http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/ as normal. However, you cannot log onto http://scp-wiki.net/ . You can try, but it won't stick.

This is true for all mobile browsers we've tested so far, at least on Android (Chrome, Dolphin, I believe Firefox though I didn't check that one personally).

We have an alert on the Join page because of how commonly this has prevented people from applying.

I don't know anything about it being Firefox specific or happening on desktops, though. Drew, can you clarify?

As for "it looks like it's mainly text", I've seen this occur repeatedly when a connection is poor and the browser won't load the template. Otherwise, no ideas.

Something about the setting for the wikidot cookie in Firefox sometimes just borks so that it'll log you in on the wikidot.com page, but not register you as logged in on the SCP wiki. Literally the only way I've found to fix it is to completely reinstall Firefox. It works fine in other browsers, though.

As for the text thing, I'm not seeing any problems at work on I.E.

I've been having a problem with the SCP wikidot site for the past few days. It looks like it's mainly text when I look at it on Firefox, but when I try the wiki.net page it looks fine, however I cannot seem to log in on that site. On the other hand, the SCP wikidot site looks fine on Safari.

Any thoughts on how to fix it?

Anyone know what might be going on? All I thought of was maybe the add-ons and adblockers potentially messing with javascript, since the issue isn't present on Safari, but could there be anything else?
