SCP-9232 is not to be forcibly relocated unless authorized by two Level 4 personnel and the Site Director. --- **Description:** SCP-9232 is a humanoid female possessing the physical characteristics of a human adult. She is approximately 168 cm in height and generally wears a long, dark gray-black garment made from a coarse fabric resembling aged wool. SCP-9232 wears a pale gray-white veil which completely conceals her face. The veil extends from the top of her head to approximately the middle of her torso. SCP-9232 strongly dislikes having her face observed. Attempts to remove or deliberately look beneath the veil have consistently resulted in hostile responses. However, Foundation personnel initially incorrectly interpreted this behavior as evidence that the veil itself possessed anomalous properties. Current evidence indicates that SCP-9232 simply does not want her face to be seen. SCP-9232 possesses an anomalous ability allowing her to exert direct control over living organisms within an unknown range. The ability has been observed affecting humans, mammals, birds, insects, and plants. The exact upper limit of its range remains unknown. SCP-9232 does not require physical contact to utilize this ability and does not necessarily require verbal commands. She is capable of manipulating multiple individuals simultaneously with considerable precision. Affected individuals have been observed walking, stopping, dropping objects, changing direction, leaving rooms, kneeling, and performing other physically possible actions against their will. SCP-9232 has demonstrated no consistent tendency to limit the amount of force used when exercising her anomalous abilities. If SCP-9232 considers the use of force necessary, she will generally use it. Because of this, any deliberate attempt to provoke, intimidate, threaten, restrain, or deceive SCP-9232 is considered a serious containment violation. Despite her anomalous capabilities, SCP-9232 displays extensive human characteristics. She eats and drinks normally, sleeps regularly, experiences physical pain and fatigue, displays a wide range of emotions, communicates fluently, reads, remembers events from her past, and demonstrates personal preferences. SCP-9232 has also demonstrated empathy and an understanding of social etiquette. The Foundation's initial classification of SCP-9232 as a non-human anomalous entity is now considered inaccurate. Medical examinations have demonstrated that SCP-9232 possesses biological characteristics consistent with a human being. More significantly, genetic and historical records have revealed that SCP-9232 appears to correspond to a woman who died more than a century ago. SCP-9232 has confirmed that this woman was herself. Local authorities received multiple reports of voices coming from inside the building despite repeated inspections finding no occupants. The final report was made by a hiker who claimed to have heard "people praying" inside the abandoned chapel at approximately 02:50.
