Has developed a pattern of rarely talking in 19 except for gorn pictures posted apropos of nothing, random other pics posted apropos of nothing, and butting into / starting unnecessary arguments (sometimes all at the same time).
This includes, but is not limited to, an incident in which Kens kicked him for posting unnecessary gorn (note: was properly tagged) in 19, which devolved into a disruptive argument rather quickly. (Not entirely Slate's fault there — gabbz/jumdush called for a ban insistently for no reason whatsoever — but it just didn't need to happen in the first place.)
We have asked him to change his pattern of behavior. Because we don't need another Ecks, basically.
This is the result of receiving minor complaints about this for some time, but it's built up to a head only recently. Slate requests that we endeavor to tell him earlier next time something like this happens:
Partial logs:
[21:07] thedeadlymoose [21:05] Slate All I've been told is that "All the OPs have a problem with you, quit your shit." I see this as a warning of impending punishment
[21:08] thedeadlymoose I apologize for this
[21:08] thedeadlymoose I just really don't see another way we should do that
[21:08] thedeadlymoose I mean, I told you within three days of definitely knowing that it was getting to the point where it could lead to punishment
[21:08] thedeadlymoose And the fact is, it's unlikely to if you put any kind of effort in
[21:09] Slate A "Yo Slate, some people have been calling, chill yo ridin' ya dig?" earlier along, I feel like now is after the angry crowd has developed
I honestly don't think it was at that point before this week, but we should keep this request in mind regardless.
There's a lot of other logs that could be pasted, but I'll just summarize: We've talked to Slate in-depth about the issue and our hope is that this is all there is to it.
