This time he derailed chat from a discussion of someone's draft to suggest yet another cliche idea and to have the argument that it's not cliche.
None of this is against the rules, it's just the context for this incident.
Ultimately (after arguing with him for a bit) I realized I was just contributing to a chat disruption (as a draft was on the table), and gave a stop order. He ignored it.
