Non-disc thread here. The user has responded to multiple closed Staff Posts, including at least once with inappropriate content and vehemence. The user had already posted an article with questionable usage of racial slurs and was suspected to be underage, plus some suspect this user to be a known troll.

The user has been revoked, pending a ban decision. Right now I'm just "yes", but undecided on length. Depends on how convincing the apparent connection to that other user is.

Even if they're not trolling, their site behavior has only been problematic and showed no indication of improvement or awareness of needing improvement. Perma.

Its funny how I got removed and shitted down my throat when I used the term 'faggot' in a non-prejudice way with no malicious intent, but ProcyonLotor completely gets away with

"retarded faggot"

when he used it exactly how I used it and doesn't get punished for it. Gosh, I love your site by your staff are awful.
I don't care if you wanna do something against this 'sock puppet' account. You're literally wasting your own time. It just proves my point how strict you guys are on your members.

bans from the site tend to be due to a combination of other problematic behaviors that indicate someone is not a worthwhile member of the community.

I rather not make both of us go through the trouble and time for it as I already know I will be denied…. Again. My punishment was legitimate, as I threaten a member, insulted a group of people, and I was being extremely homophobic. It was just I personally didn't appreciate how my ban message was written out to me. One of the arguments that I was criticized for was using the F slur. I was told I could not say it in any context, which obviously is not true, and I considered that bias.

Given the noticeable behavioral improvement, I let them know that they can appeal the permanent ban in the future. That said, it almost seems like the recent messages I received were written by either a parent or another guardian/older individual. (Or I'm just updating the wrong record entirely…)
