As part of my efforts to upgrade all or at lease many of the existing collaborative logs (see here, here, and here) I've realized that it would be very useful to have some tags relating to this to apply to different pages.
There are a few different tags that I would like to have:
- log-entry to mark the log entry pages used by the log page code. (This tag could be applied automatically by adding the /tags/log-entry suffix to the 'create new entry' button.)
- open-log for collaborative logs and other lists where site members are considered free to add new items.
- _log-candidate to mark pages that are potential candidates for an upgrade to new log format.
I've made a list of pages that I'd consider candidates for an upgrade, that I made by manually going through the pages tagged collaborative and filtering out the hub pages, the ones that are clearly closed to new submissions, tales with multiple sections, and ones with technical complications that I've not yet figured out how to deal with. These pages would get tagged with _log-candidate, and this tag would be removed when they either have been upgraded or it's been decided not to upgrade them.
Some more work may be needed to go through and tag existing open-log pages, but the list of pages should mostly be redundant with the list of _log-candidate pages.
