Right now the easiest way to find new articles with images in them is to look at every new page and scan them for images. This is redundant work as the tagging folk already read articles and would easily be able to tell if there's an image present on the page or not. I'd like us to add the tag _image for any new articles with images in them. We won't be counting on the tagging team to look into attribution here, they'd just tag the page for us to look at later.
Once they do I can create a module on the mainsite to list all new articles with that tag, and OS can frequent the list to look into and enforce the images policy as per our new enforcement protocols. Once they've finished with it one way or another they'd switch it out for the now extant _cc tag (or in cases where the image is removed, remove it altogether) and the piece would be off the list. Easy peasy.
